The Sports Chat Sportsbook

With stuff all activity in the XDBookie thread, maybe what we need is a rival Bookmaker to create some competition. Members can place bets with both bookies of course, and this might be what is needed to have an active betting ring with both Bookies trying to give the best odds they can.

Trial run from April 2010 – July 2010

Forum Name: Sports Chat Sportsbook
Currency: Sports Chat Credits (Cr)

Each member starts with 1000 Cr
Maximum Bet: 250 Cr

Member with the best running total at the end of the year is crowned with some awesome title and gets to have that title until defeated.

Sports Covered: AFL, Australian Domestic Cricket, SCFAL, MLB, NFL and any requests looked at.

I'll run the Sports Chat Sportsbook and keep track of totals, etc. and if doesn't work then it doesn't work. No harm done but maybe it's worth a shot.

Also a suggestion for OzCorka, get rid of the new avatar, it's massive and it's clogging up my screen. Sometimes it lags a bit because of it as well.
