Brett Emerton born in Sydney on the 22nd of february 1979, is a successfull midfielder for the socceroos and can be a good defender. You will find him in the Socceroos Squad in all of the big tournaments, just like the Fifa World Cup(And he played brilliantly in it), Brett Emerton took is first debut for Australia in 1998. He is also playing for a successfull club in the English Premier League, and that team is the Blackburn Rovers. Joining them in 2003 and having 202 caps since then, he must be a good and important player for them.

Mark Scwarzer, born in Sydney on the 6th of october 1972, is the goalkeeper for the socceroos, and probaly the best goalkeeper to ever play for Australia. being 37 years old, you might think that he's not in good form, but he is a great goalkeeper for Australia and Middlesbrough an he he does the job beautifully. He was the Goalkeeper for Middlesbrough in the UEFA Cup final i 2006 but unfortunatly they lost, but he did a fantastic job to get to the final. He was also in the side for the 2006 Fifa World cup.



3. Harry Kewell

Harry Kewell, born in Sydney on the 22nd September 1978 is probaly the best ever striker to play for Australia, as out of all the Australian to play for a club, Harry Kewell probaly played for the most successfull one, and the being Liverpool. During 2003 to 2008 he play for liverpool and rejected 5 outstanding offers from AC Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona, he must of been valiable to Liverpool. From 2008 he has been playing for a turkish club called Galatasaray. While he has been playing for them he score 26 goals in 43 matches which is more than 1 goal in every second match.

Lucas Neil was born in Sydney on the 9th of march 1978, He is the captain for Australia and plays for Everton with a in the English Premier League with a friend of his in the socceroos, Tim Cahill. Lucas Neill is the best Defender fo Australia and he would be one of the best for Everton. Lucas Neill started of his career with Millwall then Blackburn found his excellent defending skills, so he moved on the playing on with them, then he started playing for West ham and now he's playing with Everton(which probaly explains how poor West ham is playing).

Tim Cahill was born in sydney on 6 December 1979, Australian socceroo player. He made history at the 2006 Germany World Cup by scoring the first two goals for Australia at the World Cup. Tim Cahill is a proud Everton player being one of their most valiable player. Scored a hat-trick against Fiji in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers He has a trademark corner flag goal celebration, where he pretends to trade punches with the flag. And he also owns a Bugatti Veyron 16.4, the most powerful, expensive and fastest street legal car in the world, which is pretty impressive.
